What you don't see is David jumping up from where he was sitting on the floor...directly below the overflowing hot wax from the mantle. Some neighbors were over for dessert last night, and all of a sudden he stopped talking, jumped up faster than I've seen him move in a long time and started swatting his head like at flies! He was a really good sport about it, though, and we all got a really hearty laugh. You should see that back of his shirt, however. I won't be laughing when I try to get all that wax out.
